Glendale is one of the biggest cities in the West Valley, and it offers a little bit of everything. You can find older homes with character, newer builds, condos and townhomes, and lakefront living in Arrowhead, all in one city.
Living in Glendale
Glendale is home to State Farm Stadium and the Westgate Entertainment District, so game days and concerts are close by. Historic Downtown Glendale has local shops and restaurants and hosts Glendale Glitters, a popular holiday light festival. In north Glendale, Thunderbird Conservation Park has hiking trails right in the city.
What the homes are like
South and central Glendale have many established neighborhoods with older homes, while north Glendale, including the Arrowhead area, has newer homes and master-planned communities. Condos and townhomes can be a more affordable way to get into the market.
Getting around
The Loop 101 runs through Glendale, and Grand Avenue and I-17 are nearby, making it easy to commute into Phoenix or across the West Valley.
